Since 1994, Jamison Green has worked with attorneys, legislators, and other policymakers to craft language pertaining to gender identity and expression in employment, housing, and public accommodation. Jamison Green & Associates has special expertise in transgender-inclusive health care benefit establishment and policy implementation.
Thirty years of experience in corporate technical and business publications writing and management, including Director and VP roles overseeing multiple departments, have given Dr. Green a great deal of perspective on organizational functionality and productive social interactions that ethical policies support.
Dr. Green has conducted policy reviews to ensure internal consistency, and has developed position papers and explanatory documents that corporations and governmental bodies have used to educate staff, clients, or customers about existing Gender Identity and Expression non-discrimination policies and practices.
For example, Dr. Green worked with Federated Department Stores (Macy's) to implement their non-discrimination policy. He developed a guide for all Macy's and Bloomingdales associates and a more detailed document for Human Resources personnel. The guides were rolled out in April, 2007.
Dr. Green has also collaborated with internal corporate teams to develop successful specific business-case documents that provide the rationale for implementing Gender Identity and Expression non-discrimination policies and practices within their organizations.
